Musée de la Romanité - Made in France
Opened in 2018, the Museum of Romanité located in Nîmes, in the South of France, was designed by Elisabeth de Portzamparc. The museum sets a strong architectural dialogue with the Arena of Nîmes, the construction of which dates back 2000 years. Inside the museum, 5000 pieces of art give testimony of 25 centuries of history. Until october 2019, an exhibition shows the incredible story of the Romans attempt to save Pompei. Aside, a restaurant with a stunning view, a large archeological garden and à 3500 m2 rooftop can be enjoyed by visitors.
