From the D Day Beaches to the battle of the Hedgerows

2019 will mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Landings and the beginning of the Battle of Normandy, which led to the liberation of France and Europe. There will be ceremonies on all Allied landing beaches in Normandy, including a major international ceremony on June 6, 2019

In addition to the official ceremonies and in honor of the anniversary there will be a major Norman Rockwell exhibit at the Caen Memorial Museum starting June 4, 2019 "Enduring Ideals: Rockwell, Roosevelt & the Four Freedoms".

Also, the Armada of Rouen will be celebrating it 30th anniversary and will be in tribute to D-Day
